Ceiling screw
The Ceiling Screw has a large head to prevent it from pulling through ceiling board. It features the bugle screw head design that allows the screw to embed itself in the ceiling board, resulting in a slightly recessed finish, which can later be filled and painted to achieve a smooth finish.
Ceiling Screws should be inserted with an electric screwdriver accompanied by a #2 Phillips screw driving bit. In addition, for best results, the Ceiling Screw should be inserted 90° to the ceiling board to allow the larger head to sit perfectly flat.
The screws have coarse thread, allowing them to fasten ceiling board securely to a wood substrate such as studs or roof brandering, as strong holding power is required.
